| Biography: | The band started off as a continuation of an already existing band, Greenhouse Effect which already had Sutesh and Gael in it. When half the band left to pursue their studies overseas, both of them, along with Ryan on bass decided to start up a Porcupine Tree cover band of sorts. When the guitarist at the time left, Ryan decided to play guitar and the band grew from there, jamming as a bass-less 3 piece before finally recruiting current bassist Chu Hang. At our first gig, not wanting to use the name Greenhouse Effect, we used a random band name generator and came up with Vacant Illusion. Apparently the name has stuck so yeah, that's basically our short story till now. Thanx for taking your time to visit our page, we hope to see and entertain you soon. |
